Azriela Jaffe announced at the Heartwarmers conference that she has just
signed a contract with Adams Media, the publisher of the first Heartwarmers
book, for TWO more heartwarmers books! The theme of the next book will be
Heartwarmer stories on love, romance, and friendship. The second book will
be Heartwarmer stories on triumphing over adversity.
Azriela welcomes your story submissions for both of these books. The love
book will be completed first, so those stories should be sent within the
next 2-4 weeks.
Submission guidelines:
- Stories must be written directly for Heartwarmers, and not have appeared in
print or online elsewhere, except for your own personal website or book.
- Stories should be 700-2000 words in length. Include full name, mailing
address and fax with each story submission.
- If the story doesn't make you laugh or cry, it's probably not going to be
accepted for the book!
- You will keep the copyright, but you must be willing to assign exclusive
rights to the story for one year after publication for any book, and 90
days after publication for any other media.
- Final approval of accepted stories is made by the publisher, not Azriela
Jaffe. She will work with you to edit and submit stories she believes
should be included in the book. Authors whose stories are accepted and
published in the book will receive $100 upon publication, and a byline
at the back of the book.

"heartwarmer love story" or "heartwarmer adversity story" in the subject.
Some of the heartwarmer stories in the book will run on the heartwarmer
list, but not all, due to space constraints.
